The National BDPA Corporate SponsorshipThe National BDPA Corporate Sponsorship Program was established to facilitate the development of formal alliances between BDPA and Corporate America. In support of BDPA programs, activities and goals, corporate sponsors not only offer financial resources but also actively participate in programs developed to enhance the technical and professional skills of the Information Technology Community. The program is open to all corporations with a sincere interest in pursuing the mission, goals, and objectives of BDPA. Additionally, the program is designed to offer corporations and opportunity to partner with BDPA to meet corporate goals and objectives for recruiting, employee development, philanthropic endeavors and enhanced image in the African American community. The investment in BDPA generates positive corporate exposure to a technically diverse membership of African-American Information Technology professionals and students. The BDPA Corporate Sponsorship Program consists of 3 major components: NATIONAL BDPA CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM: The Annual National conference is BDPA's largest professional networking opportunity of the year. This event draws hundreds of professionals, students, entrepreneurs, educators, researchers, and corporate participants from across the country. During the 5-day event, African-American CIO's share their experience with their peers, while participants from across the country take part in the Career Fair, explore the displays at the Technology Expo, and attend seminars and workshops reflecting leading-edge technologies and strategies for IT Professionals. The BDPA Annual National Conference provides and invaluable opportunity for corporations to invest in the future, while taking tremendous advantage of this event as a resource for recruitment of high-level talented IT professionals and students. This program is implemented by National BDOA and is the major funding source for the organization. This program is designed for corporations interested in the highest level of national exposure at the Annual BDPA Conference and is primarily used by corporations as a recruiting mechanism at the Career Fair.
NATIONAL BDPA CORPORATE PARTNERS PROGRAM: This program is implemented by National BDPA and is designed to allow corporations a way to invest in National BDPA outside of the local chapter and the annual conference. It is geared for corporations interested in the highest level of national exposure throughout the year. It is primarily used by corporations interested in long-term partnership with BDPA. LOCAL BDPA CORPORATE PARTNERS PROGRAM: This program is managed by local chapters and is designed to give the corporation a way to support local chapter programs. This program also includes a National BDPA component for corporations interested in sponsoring National BDPA programs to gain national exposure. ***Contact the BDPA Cleveland President*** |
